British School of Ulaanbaatar (BSU) is seeking to appoint a International Staff Coordinator The main duties will include: Oversee the expatriate staff’s visa and residency procedures Assist the HR Director in general HR management procedures Translate letters and documents as required and assist with oral translations Oversee the HR filing and archiving system Provide support to the daily operation of the school Stand in for absent colleagues Maintain and manage employee personal files and other necessary documentation. Support and coordinate interactions between organizational management and employees Regularly monitor and address employees' health, social protection, and psychological well-being; organize various social activities Provide information and advice to employees regarding employment matters Handle and participate in the management of foreign employees' employment arrangements. supporting the development and implementation of Human Resources initiatives and information systems; managing the recruitment process, which involves but is not limited to preparing job descriptions, posting advertisements, screening applications, scheduling interviews, formalising contracts and conducting background checks for both domestic and expatriate hires; supporting the Head Master in the creation and implementation of effective on boarding plans; liaising with Head Master, Business Director and CFO on policies and procedures regarding employment, staffing, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures, absence management, welfare and training; Preparation of Staff Handbooks; advising on salary and other remuneration issues, including stipends and benefits; negotiating with staff and their representatives on issues relating to salary and conditions; liaising with the Finance Team with the administration of payroll and maintaining employee attendance records; liaising with head team in the development and management of the annual Human Resources budget; analysing training needs in conjunction with departmental managers; assisting with the School Performance Management Review processes; developing HR planning strategies, which consider immediate and long-term staffing requirements; supporting the management of disciplinary and grievance issues; maintaining employee records according to School data protection policy, retention of records policy and legal requirements of Mongolia; reviewing employment and working conditions to ensure compliance with Mongolian law.
