• Understanding of and experience with site based electrical works, preferably wind farms (or other forms of power plant projects).
• Understanding of power plant projects including but not limited to power system protection, power utilization equipment and application considerations including the various types of switchgear, protective relays, breakers, transformers, AC/DC converters and WTG generators
• Support development planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling and monitoring of electrical work activities and interface with contractors on site.
• Establish and maintain positive working relationships with other work units, local representatives, other engineering disciplines, vendors, Contractors and other stakeholders
• Responsible for working with the engineering and technical groups ensuring work outputs comply with standards and meets contract requirements
• Review of drawings to ensure completeness and constructability
• Able to review and understand single line diagrams (SDL) and other electrical design drawings and specifications.
• Assist the Project Manager and / or Site Manager in managing the site and construction.
• Support in preparation of report, letter, presentations, etc

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar) from an accredited university and a minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction of power plants;
• Demonstrate excellence and effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and the necessary skills to interface with local representatives, clients, vendors, contractors and subcontractors and other stakeholders;
• Experience of having worked with clients from design concept stage through to project delivery is preferred;
• Ability to communicate across all levels of an organization;
• Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and manage site personnel;
• Proficient English & Mongolian (speaking, writing, reading); and
• Willing to be site based fulltime.

The following qualities are preferred and considered an advantage:

• Experience with High-voltage works
• Experience working with foreign companies
• Experience working with NDC, ERC, NPTG, etc.

Other Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to operate a motor vehicle and possession of a valid driver’s license
• Ability to interpret and follow a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Skilled in MS Office, Outlook, Excel and MS Project
