The Logistics Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all logistics operations within the company. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient movement of goods both domestically and internationally, while ensuring full compliance with transportation regulations, customs, and company standards. The Logistics Manager will also play a key role in the long-term development of warehousing and inventory management strategies and be responsible for establishing and implementing cutting-edge logistics procedures to optimize operations.

• Manage daily logistics operations, managing inbound and outbound shipments
• Ensure compliance with domestic and international transportation, customs regulations, and industry standards
• Develop and implement logistics procedures, offering guidance to internal teams
• Identify logistics risks and create mitigation strategies, ensuring compliance with Mongolian laws and international trade regulations
• Collaborate with legal, HSE, procurement, site, warehouse, and project management teams to align logistics activities with project goals.
• Act as the primary contact for logistics-related inquiries and resolve issues promptly
• Evaluate and select logistics vendors and contractors, ensuring compliance with company policies and requirements
• Manage relationships with logistics service providers to ensure timely, quality deliveries
• Negotiate favorable terms with logistics vendors, building long-term partnerships
• Keep up to date with regulatory changes and logistics industry trends to drive continuous improvement.

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in logistics management are a plus.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in logistics management, including cross-border transportation, customs interaction, and warehouse/inventory management.
• Experience in the mining or energy sector, particularly with oversized equipment and hazardous materials, is preferred.
• Strong understanding of both local and international logistics regulations.
• Proficient in logistics management software and tools.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in English (Russian/Chinese would be highly desirable)

Position

• Based in Ulaanbaatar
• 5*2 days work schedule, (4 days at office, 1-day remote work)
