To implement a community engagement program plan, project socialization, manage grievance mechanism and maintain relationships with local community(s) in accordance with the project Stakeholder Engagement Plan, Lender’s requirements and UPC’s requirements. To ensure the implementation of the CSR program, including needs assessment, support on CSR project preparation, etc.

The role is to be based in Choir, Govisumber Aimag with occasional requirements to be in Ulaanbaatar and possibly Mandalgovi, Dundgovi Aimag at times.

· Degree from any related major, preferably from social background, or 10 years of relevant adult work experience;

· Experience in organization of and working with community groups, etc;

· Must have the ability to work collaboratively with internal team and external stakeholders;

· Fluent Mongolia language, decent English language

· Has basic computer literacy (word and excel);

· Willing to work a flexible schedule as per operational needs; and

· Be willing to be based on / near project sites including Choir wind farm, located in Choir, Govisumber Aimag

Essential Job Functions

· To undertake Community and External Relations activities and regularly provide a report to the Project Director and the Head of Environmental and Social;

· To conduct effective and good communication with stakeholders to meet company goals in terms of sustainable relationships;

· To receive and resolve community grievances in accordance with the Grievance Mechanism.

· To initiate, facilitate and support CSR and community development programs;

· To maintain and compile engagement tracking and provide engagement resume to the Project Director and the Head of Environmental and Social;

· To prepare Monthly reports and ad-hoc reports as required; and

· To support the development, land teams and construction teams.
